About This Show

It’s Los Angeles, the late 1940’s. Blondes shimmer, crooners croon, and corruption lurks in every mansion. City of Angels follows the adventures of Stone, a character in a series of best-selling detective novels and his author, Stine. Stine is adapting a book for the movies, and Stone has to live his words. When character and author meet, the magic begins. This film noir-esque musical features a book by Larry Gelbart, music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by David Zippel. Songs include “What You Don’t Know About Women,” “With Every Breath I Take” and “You Can Always Count On Me.”
There will be no Sunday matinee on October 15.
