About This Show

This Tony Award winning comedy is comprised of four short plays about sex and human relationships. Written by Robert Anderson.

The four short plays include “The Shock Of Recognition,” which breaks in on a difference of opinion between a producer and playwright about the necessity of a nude scene and the over-eager actor who wants to play it. “The Footsteps Of Doves” follows a couple shopping for a new bed after 25 years of marriage – he wants a double; she wants twins. “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” looks in on parents discussing the sex education of their almost-adult children. And “I’m Herbert” features two very old people rocking on a porch, discussing their previous marriages and flings, but both are hazy on the details.
