The Theatre Company of Rhode Island (TCRI) presents Thurberace: A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening. TCRI Artistic Director Michael Thurber stars in this evening of music and more.

Michael Thurber is Artistic Director and founder of the Theatre Company of Rhode Island. He is an accomplished pianist who began playing at the age of three. A native of Chepachet, Michael graduated from Oral Roberts University with a double major in Theater and English and a minor in Music. He has worked and toured with Theater Tulsa and was a member of their Board of Directors. Locally he has performed with Karen Adams, of Channel 12 News, in A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters as well as with the Players at Barker, the Community Players of Pawtucket, City Nights Dinner Theater, the Yankee Theater Wing, the Academy Players of East Greenwich and the Granite Theater.
