An exciting contemporary work, [SIC] is a modern-day tale of friendship and relationship set in a disjointed urban life. Young, ambitious neighbors come together in a series of apartment hallways to discuss, flirt, argue, and plan their futures with unequal shares of deep hopefulness and abject despair. This vibrant new play boasts exhilarating structural inventiveness: line breaks more akin to poetry, internal capitalizations, and virtual lack of punctuation.
