Emerson Stage & the Musical Theatre Society of Emerson College present Pippin, featuring book by Roger O. Hirson, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. Stephen Terrell directs. The musical tells the theatrical fantasy of a young man whose search outside himself for total fulfillment leads only to failure. When his attempts fail to bring him the happiness he so desperately seeks, he turns to the one place he’s forgotten to look—his heart.
