Friends of the Charlestown Branch Library present I’m Dreaming of a White Xmas: The Music of Irving Berlin. From “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” in 1911 to “Count Your Blessings” in 1954, Irving Berlin was the voice of Everyman, putting into words and music what everyone felt to be true about their lives. Cabaret artists Bobbi Carrey and Will McMillan, with pianist Doug Hammer, breathe new life into Berlin’s wonderful music. A reception follows the performance.
