To round out the 2004 Musical Series Season, NSMT is the first regional theatre in the country to produce Elton John and Tim Rice’s blockbuster hit musical, Aida. Bursting with energetic contemporary pop/rock rhythms, this epic tale of love, loyalty, betrayal and courage won four 2000 Tony Awards® including Best Score. Stafford Arima, who directed critically acclaimed productions of Smokey Joe’s Cafe and Ragtime at NSMT, will be at the helm of this exciting and innovative musical.
