Imagine two good friends, both lesbians: a photographer, and a writer. Vida (rhymes with high, dry, and cry) is a flame to all who know her. Cassandra fights shy. She sees Vida as wild and not quite free. Vida’s lovers have come and gone. Will Vida and Cassandra connect? Can they? What power connects two bodies only by sight? It’s Christmas among the dunes of the Outer Cape. What do you do when the ex shows up wanting closure or wanting more. Who inspires the woman artist? Does she own herself?
