About This Show

It is summer. A warm breeze floats over the sea as the sun bakes down upon the sand dunes. In a small town on the west coast of Scotland, three generations are profoundly affected by the death of seventeen year old Roslyn. Intimate personal details are revealed between friends and strangers, old and young, who are struggling to make peace with themselves. Sharman Macdonald’s play goes straight to the heart of a community ripped apart by grief and delicately explores the agony of bereavement, the rediscovery of love and the possibility of recover. The Girl with Red Hair is a warm, humorous and sensitive portrait of human relationships, which examines life in all its stages. Mike Bradwell directs.

No performances on Good Friday (25 March) or Easter Monday (28 March).
