An avant garde "appetizer," Deep Fried Cheese, written and directed by Tore Ingersoll-Thorp with original music by James Call, delves into the world of competitive eating, and a speed eater whose girlfriend becomes a vegan in response to a personal morality crisis. A veritable smorgasbord of comedy, Deep Fried Cheese is also a poignant examination of growing up and questioning what it really means to take responsibility for one’s own life.
