Linda Simien Kelly fascinates both novice viewers and art connoisseurs as she passionately captures human nature from multiple dimensions. Her oil paintings employ unusual colors to reveal powerful expression and intimate emotions fused with life experiences. Unsurprisingly replete with humility, the soft spoken artist speaks volumes through each brush stroke. Symbolic of her dynamic insight, she notes the completion of her pieces is realized when the connection a viewer makes with her art brings forth “…love at first sight.” Because her unique perspective leans toward innate sensitivity for human vulnerability, the depth of her work is limitless.

Sickle cell association of the Texas Gulf Coast is recognized as a premier organization that is a leader in both helping to find a cure for sickle cell related disorders and creating an informed and compassionate community in which all persons live unhampered by the disease. In addition to educating the community about sickle cell disease, SCA provide supportive services for those impacted by the disease. …SCA’s goal is to offer the type of support that will help enhance the quality of life for the individual and their family.
