The Taming of the Shrew

For its ninth season of Shakespeare-under-the-Stars, First Folio Shakespeare Festival presents a rip-roarin’ tale of love in the Old West, as The Taming of the Shrew brings together Petruchio (fastest gun west of the Snake River) and Kate (the sauciest filly in Colorado). Set in a Colorado mining town in 1890, this production blends the power of Shakespeare’s words with the iconic images and characters of the American western movie.
