Kankakee Valley Theatre Association is a not-for-profit community theater that operates in the area around Kankakee, Illinois. It comprises two groups: Young Peoples Theatre (which presents productions with youth ages 6 to 16 as the actors) and Kankakee Valley Theatre (which is open to actors of any age over 6). KVTA has been providing high-quality theater since 1963. Purpose statement: To promote, produce, encourage, and sponsor civic theater and drama in the Kankakee Valley area.
