Too Girl To Comprehend

Culled from seven different stories about mothers, Too Girl To Comprehend explores how the choices women make and the joys and sorrows they experience shape their sons’ and daughters’ perspectives on what it means to be female. This piece weaves together the seven distinct stories by finding the thematic intersections between them; childhood, education, ethnicity, immigration, class, religion, sex, marriage, parenting and work are all explored through a company-created script that includes text, dance and live, original music.
