About This Show

Shakespeare’s The Tempest tells the story of Prospero, Duke of Milan, who is deposed by his brother and cast to sea with his daughter Miranda. Upon a lonely island, Prospero finds sanctuary among its strange inhabitants and spirits, and finds a new power in magic. When Prospero conjures up a storm that shipwrecks his old enemies on the island, sorcery and revenge give way to the inclinations of the heart.
