“The Last Word,” an Adventure Screenplay with a Cocktail Experience, Announces Summer Performances

The Last Word, created by Declan Grogan, announces performance dates each month from May to August, at the iO Theater, 1501 N. Kingsbury St. The Last Word is the ONLY craft cocktail progression paired with a screenplay. The story is based on Chartreuse, a real-life liqueur that sells millions of bottles every year, but only two people in the world know how to make it. When Mike finds one dying in the woods and is given the only known copy of the recipe, he has to decide whether to return it to the monastery that keeps it safe or die trying. Audiences may experience a high-action comedy script complete with lights, sound, music and other fun surprises throughout the night, including four cocktails crafted specifically for each act of the show. Finally, at The Last Word, there is only one rule: No one knows what will happen tonight.
