“The Last Word,” an Adventure Screenplay with a Cocktail Experience, Announces Fall & Winter 2026 Performances

The Last Word, created by Declan Grogan, announces extension performance dates each month from September to December, at the iO Theater, 1501 N. Kingsbury St. The Last Word is the ONLY craft cocktail progression paired with a screenplay. The story is based on Chartreuse, a real-life liqueur that sells millions of bottles every year, but only two people in the world know how to make it. When Mike finds one dying in the woods and is given the only known copy of the recipe, he has to decide whether to return it to the monastery that keeps it safe or die trying. The running time is two hours and 30 minutes, including an intermission. The performance schedule through December is Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m., followed by Friday, Oct. 30, Friday, Nov. 20 and Friday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $50 for general admission/drink package, which includes four specialty cocktails and $20 for general admission tickets without the cocktail experience.
