Polarity Ensemble Theatre presents a three weekend festival of new plays featuring staged readings of five full-length works:

The Good Harvest by Lisa Rosenthal, directed by Laura Sturm, Thursday, November 6 and Saturday, November 15, 2008, 7:30pm.
After their mother’s death, triplets Henry, Molly and Jonathan are shocked by the appearance of their long-estranged father at her funeral.

Ephemera by Bryce Wissel, directed by Emily Lotspeich, Friday, November 7, 7:30pm and Sunday, November 16, 2pm.
Hilarious sci-fi in which four crewmembers and a mysterious stranger face a threat beyond their understanding aboard a space station.

The Double Negative by Darren Callahan, directed by Richard Engling, Saturday, November 8 and Thursday, November 13, 7:30pm.
Two brothers battle for politics and the love of the same woman in post-war Europe.

Adrift by David Alex, directed by Brea Hayes, Sunday, November 9, 2pm and Friday, November 14, 7:30pm.
Relationships between father and son are intertwined with each one’s definition of loyalty and honor, life and death.

The festival also includes a single reading of The White Airplane by Darren Callahan, Sunday, November 23, 2pm, in advance of its February world premiere. A Pittsburgh man finds himself in the body of a Japanese typist who is suspected in his wife’s disappearance.
