Infamous Idol

The Infamous Commonwealth Theatre presents their Fourth Annual Infamous Idol karaoke contest. Contestants enter the karaoke contest upon arrival (no pre-registration) and perform in sign up order. After each contestant’s song, three actors playing Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell from the TV show American Idol evaluate the performance. After all contestants have performed, “Paula,” “Randy” and “Simon” pick the top five finalists. The finalists perform a second song, and then the audience votes for their favorite performer by giving money to the contestant they’d most like to win (all “money votes” benefit ICT). Whichever finalist collects the most money from the crowd at the end of the evening will be crowned the 2006 Infamous Idol and win two roundtrip plane tickets anywhere Southwest Airlines flies.
