This innovative and entertaining production was created by Jim Lasko in collaboration with the Redmoon Theatre Company, and is presented in association with The Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Emerging from the shadows on a dimly lit stage, a troupe of players arrive to celebrate the life of Quasimodo, the central character in Victor Hugo?s classic novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Using elaborate masks and an international range of puppetry styles, their tale will ultimately point to the inspiring ability of human beings to find cause for celebration, even in the midst of pain and sorrow.
