City of Angels (Wheaton Drama)

The 2008-2009 season concludes with the Drama Desk and six-time Tony Award winning musical, City of Angels. With book by Larry Gelbart (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), music by Cy Coleman, and lyrics by David Zippel, City of Angels follows a young novelist who is struggling to adapt his book to film in 1940s Hollywood. This live action private eye film is an audience pleaser with its humor, excellent music, and brilliant use of color and black and white scenes.
