How far would you go for love? For art? the shape of things examines these questions through the unique relationship between manipulative graduate art student Evelyn and Adam — the insecure nerd who falls madly in love with her. In a series of twists and turns that would be unfair to reveal, it’s clear that Evelyn has brought about quite a “change” in Adam. It’s a change that will affect his friends Philip and Jenny in ways they couldn’t possibly imagine. And in a final unexpected revelation, Adam himself realizes what he has become — and even more shockingly — why he has become this way.
