While Buford “Daddy” Turnover breathes his last, his son and daughters battle over who will inherit his fortune. Everyone knows that Daddy changed his will, but nobody knows who got left out: spinster daughter Sara Lee; preacher’s wife Lurlene; six-times divorced Evalita, or garbage-collecting Orville. When blood is thicker than money, comedy rides high. Daddy’s Dyin’ (Who’s Got the Will?) is a good old-fashioned comedy about good old-fashioned greed.
