My Lessons From Dogs

About This Show

John Drew Theater Lab (JDTLab) is a workshop devoted to fostering East End performing artists continues its fall season! My Lessons From Dogs by Patrick Christiano is an inspirational tale about the writer’s 22 years with Norfolk Terriers, an ironic journey to rediscovering his childlike energy, which drew him back to the theater and away from selling million dollar homes in the Hamptons to playing on stages in New York City and beyond.

Conceived from improvisations with people he meets while walking his dogs on the streets of the West Village, the witty autobiographical story chronicles the beginning of his theater writing, a return to acting in NYC, a gig as a Hampton realtor on MTV, and ultimately portraying Truman Capote in TRU. Patrick weaves a funny, true and inspiring tale about following your bliss and confronting death.
