Don’t Hug Me

South Florida premiere of this musical comedy by Phil Olsen – set in Minnesota on the coldest day of the year. Bar owner Gunner Johnson (Broadway star Charles West) is trying to convince his wife Clara (British actress Ellen Jameson), a former Winter Carnival Queen, to move to the Sunshine State of Florida. Other cast members are Laughing Gas improv actors James Carey & Valerie Zach plus jazz singer Craig Strang. The show has been described as Fargo crossed with The Music Man – without the blood or the trombone.

“A quirky, charming musical,” says My Big Fat Greek Wedding director Joel Zwick.
