The Student Prince

Sigmund Romberg’s operetta, The Student Prince presented as a staged concert in the style of New York City’s popular Encores series, is considered a landmark of melody, staging and theatre. The old-world charm of a mythological kingdom sings of love and romance among royalty, university students and townspeople. Now a classic of the American musical theatre, the romantic melodies captured the hearts of audiences and continue to hold favored places today.
