Dear World

Jerry Herman, known best for Hello, Dolly! and Mame, brings his creative vision and enchanting melodies to Goodspeed-at-Chester to develop a new version of his 1969 musical. Dear World, based on The Madwoman of Chaillot, is a charming fable that celebrates the innocent wisdom of a Parisian eccentric’s dream to save the world from capitalism. Songs include “One Person,” “I’ve Never Said I Love You,” and “Dear World.” Sally Ann Howes stars as Countess Aurelia.
