Simply Sondheim

Northern California’s only 2005 tribute to composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim, Simply Sondheim benefits Theatre Bay Area’s Mary Mason Memorial Lemonade Fund. The evening celebrates many of Sondheim’s best-loved pieces while featuring some unknown & unpublished “trunk songs” provided by Mr. Sondheim himself. Directed by Tom Segal and Tom Orr, with musical direction by David Dobrusky.

Special guest performer acclaimed soprano Lisa Vroman (Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd in Concert)

Local Bay Area favorite Kelly Ground (star of Menopause, the Musical and Fantine in Les Miserables)

Cabaret newcomer Judy Butterfield (The Judy Show)

The show also features a cast of eight including James Brewer, Amy Dondy, Hannah Rose Kornfield, Stephanie Rhoads, Steve Rhyne, Shay Oglesby-Smith, Kim Larsen & Tom Orr.
