In Kirsten Greenidge’s biting comedy, Rust, Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben must reclaim their lives and help a black football superstar play the game on his own terms. Directed by Raelle Myrick-Hodges, Greenidge’s bold theatrical imagination explodes cultural stereotypes with fantastical flourish.
Rust was developed at the Magic as part of New Voices West with generous support from the Tournesol Project.
