About the Show
With book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by David Bryan, Memphis immortalizes Dewey Phillips, the 1950s radio personality that brought black rhythm and blues to white teenagers in Memphis. This production is presented as part of Theatreworks’ Spring Festival of New Works.
