Howie the Rookie

About the Show

Written by Irish playwright Mark O’Rowe, Howie the Rookie is a wickedly humorous white-knuckle ride through the dirty dives of Dublin, where a feud of honor involving a bug-infested mattress and a gangland revenge over a lost Siamese fighting fish are told with fiendish humour and ferocious suspense. The production is helmed by original director Mike Bradwell, with Irish actors Aidan Kelly and Karl Shiels recreating the roles they originated.
