You won’t believe your eyes and ears as the hippest bunch of cats saunter on stage and come to life in this nostalgic revue, featuring a six piece orchestra. Steve Apple as Dean Martin, Gary Corsello as Frank Sinatra, and Nicholas Brooks as Sammy Davis Jr., come together to portray the ultimate nightclub act ever assembled. Singing, telling jokes, and doing impressions, The Rat Pack turned the world on its ear with its upbeat entertainment style and smooth comedy routines, many of which were ad-libbed. Drawing high rollers, VIPs, celebrities, and entertainments buffs to Las Vegas, The Rat Pack became the very essence of cool, and giants in the entertainment industry.
The Rat Pack was instrumental in the rise of Las Vegas as a popular entertainment destination. Fans poured into Las Vegas, sometimes sleeping in cars and hotel lobbies when they could not find rooms, just to be part of the Rat Pack experience. At the height of the Rat Pack’s success, a solo performance by one of the members often meant the rest of the Pack would show up for an impromptu set, causing much excitement amongst audiences. It wasn’t uncommon to read "DEAN MARTIN — MAYBE FRANK — MAYBE SAMMY" on hotel marquees advertising solo appearances. The Rat Pack also played a significant role in the desegregation of Las Vegas hotels and casinos, refusing to play in, or patronize those establishments that would not give full service to African American entertainers including Sammy Davis Jr. Once Rat Pack appearances — or lack thereof — became popular and the subjects of media attention, Las Vegas properties were forced to abandon segregation-based policies.
