A Christmas Carol

Proclaimed “more lavish and enjoyable than ever” (KGO Radio) and “a Carol built to banish ‘bah humbugs’ for years to come” (Oakland Tribune), the nonsubscription presentation of Carey Perloff and Paul Walsh’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol returns to A.C.T. this holiday season, featuring new revisions and a new Scrooge in Bay Area actor James Carpenter (recently seen in Aurora Theatre Company’s The Master Builder and at A.C.T. in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof). Join A.C.T. for the redemptive tale of a cold-hearted miser who rediscovers the meaning of the Christmas spirit.
