Rosenstrasse

The Company Rep presents the world premiere of Rosenstrasse, adapted from Terry Lawrence’s original play, with music by Max Kinberg. Rosenstrasse tells the harrowing but hopeful tale of a group of German women during the latter years of Nazi terror. Up until now, their Jewish husbands had been protected by the wives’ Aryan blood — but no more. When the men are rounded up to be sent to a concentration camp, a lone woman takes a stand against the Gestapo. But she isn’t alone for long, and soon Rosenstrasse becomes the site of a battle between tyranny and the power of love and hope.
