About the Show
A perennial musical favorite, Oliver!, with book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart based on Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, follows the adventures of the orphan lad as he attempts to escape a life of poverty by running away to mid-Nineteenth Century London. Once there, he encounters a savvy band of young pickpockets led by the unscrupulous Fagin.
