Marked Tree

The Road Theatre Company presents the West Coast Premiere of Marked Tree written by Coby Goss and directed by John DiFusco. Marked Tree is based upon a legendary murder-and-hanging case that took place in Delaware, Arkansas in the early part of this century. The playwright has taken some dramatic license with names and situations (including the name of the town), but this gothic portrait of rural America remains very similar to the actual events that took place between 1912 and 1914.
