About the Show
“SHOWSTOPPER” – The Musical – a one-man show performed & composed by Gary Stockdale, returns to the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks for only 3 more PERFORMANCES: Thurs/Fri/Sat November 12, 13, 14, at 8PM. Gary again performs as Jerry Rockwell –a challenging, bold (entirely fictional) composer/lyricist near the end of his life, but responsible for some of Musical Theatre’s most unique & innovative shows. He makes a bid to be remembered for his work, coming to grips with his successes & failures, and everything he sacrificed in his quest to become the Next Big Thing on Broadway. Composed & performed by 2-time EMMY-nominated TV & film composer Gary Stockdale, and co-written with theatre veteran Spencer Green.
Come see this newly reworked performance of SHOWSTOPPER. Last year’s 6-week run at the Whitefire Theatre sold out and won the SoloFest award for Best Solo Show.
If you saw it last year, come back & see this version!
All ages welcome.
