Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well & Living in Paris

The Orange Curtain Theatre presents the hit musical Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well & Living in Paris. The poignant, passionate and profound songs of Belgian songwriter Jacques Brel are brought to vivid theatrical life in this intense musical experience. Brel’s legendary romance, humor and moral conviction are evoked simply and directly, with five singers and a pianist. The sheer musical poetry of each song supports many layers of interpretation. The power of Brel’s music has often been described as being as poetic as Bob Dylan, as introspective as John Lennon, and as virile as Bruce Springsteen. The result is a powerful, intimate, bold and emotional evening of theatre.
