It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

Four-time Academy Award nominee Annette Bening and acclaimed Los Angeles director Bart DeLorenzo return to the Geffen Playhouse for this special one-day-only live performance. A joint fundraiser for the Geffen Playhouse and The Actors Fund, a national human services organization for those in the arts, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play captures the heartwarming holiday spirit of the classic film with the nostalgia of a live radio play. Bening, who is reading the role of Mary, will be joined on stage by a cast of familiar characters (more actors to be announced shortly) as well as a foley artist who will be using a time-honored bag of tricks to create live sound effects.
