Eventide

Audrey and Lou Bronson are nearing the last days of their lives in this play about what makes love strengthen and endure. Audrey, a former actress, has decided to re-stage her first gala wedding by replacing her long-gone first husband with her faithful current husband Lou. Their loyal nephew Stanley and their day care helper Gloria are accomplices in this zany project to go back in time and get it right. They plan to recreate the wedding outdoors, with preacher, flowers, audience and loudspeakers to broadcast it to the neighborhood. This comedy-drama is a poignant look at marriage that has weathered all the storms, and is still sailing strong.
