Educating Rita

This bittersweet comedy brings a disillusioned, middle-aged English professor together with Rita, an irreverent, working class, Liverpool hair-dresser. A course in literature becomes an outrageously funny and poignant story as Rita struggles to re-invent herself, and Frank, her teacher, searches for a path back to life. Richard Corley directs, with Jonathan Epstein as Frank Bryant and Tara Franklin as Rita.
