Tommy Tune to Direct Liliane Montevecchi inTeatro ZinZanni’s Bonsoir Liliane!

Tommy Tune will direct Teatro ZinZanni’s Bonsoir Liliane!, to run September 1-January 29 at the company’s spiegeltent in Seattle.

The show will pay homage to the life of French dancer and Tony Award-winning performer Liliane Montevecchi, who will appear in the production. In addition to her work with Teatro ZinZanni, she appeared in Tune’s productions of Nine and Grand Hotel.

The company will also feature Kevin Kent as the show’s master of ceremonies, along with former Pacific Northwest Ballet star Ariana Lallone, the multi-talented Tobias Larsson, contortionist Vita Radionova, the acrobats Les Petits Frères and the musical trio Diva and Dixies.

Tune has won nine Tony Awards for acting, direction, and choreography. His Broadway credits include A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine, Seesaw, Nine, My One and Only, The Will Rogers Follies, and Grand Hotel. He is also the recipient of the National Medal of the Arts, eight Drama Desk Awards, two Obie Awards, and two Fred Astaire Awards, among other honors.
