Charles Busch, William Finn, Marvin Hamlisch, Jeanine Tesori Collaborating on Stars of David Musical

Directed by Gordon Greenberg, the piece is conceived by Aaron Harnick, with a book by Charles Busch. The composers for the project, who will set the interviews to music, include Susan Birkenhead, William Finn, Marvin Hamlisch, Sheldon Harnick, Jeanine Tesori, Tom Kitt, Maltby and Shire, Michael Friedman, Marilyn & Alan Bergman, Amanda Green, Nathan Tysen and Chris Miller, and others.

Dates and casting for the production are still to be announced.

Stars of David received a staged reading earlier this season as part of the [email protected] program.
