John Glover, Jennifer Dundas, and More to Star in All Our Children
The Sheen Center will present the American premiere of Stephen Unwin's new play.
The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture has announced that it will present the American premiere of Stephen Unwin's All Our Children, directed by Ethan McSweeny, April 6-May 12, in the Black Box Theater, with opening night set for Sunday, April 14.
Tony Award winner John Glover (Saint Joan), Jennifer Dundas (The Little Foxes), Karl Kenzler (Fiddler on the Roof), Tasha Lawrence (Hulu's The Looming Tower), and Sam Lilja (The Iceman Cometh) will star in the production.
The creative team will include Lee Savage (scenic design), Scott Bolman (lighting design), Tracy Christensen (costume design), and Lindsay Jones (sound design).
All Our Children is described as follows: "It is Germany, 1941. A terrible crime is taking place in a clinic for disabled children. The perpetrators argue that it will help struggling parents and lift the financial burden on the mighty German state. One brave voice is raised in objection. But will anyone listen? All Our Children, Stephen Unwin's riveting new play memorializes this overlooked aspect of the Holocaust, remembering the 200,000 children and young people who died and the brave few who fought against this injustice."
