Studio Six of the Moscow Art Theater will present the American premiere of Winter, written by award-winning Russian playwright Evgeny Grishkovets. Vaz Santosham will direct the production at The Gene Frankel Theater, September 15-October 2.
Featuring an original English translation by Studio Six, this highly theatrical tale follows two Chaplin-esque paratroopers on an unknown mission through an enchanted, snow-covered forest.
Studio Six of the Moscow Art Theater is an ensemble-based company comprised of the only class of Americans to complete the full conservatory training program of Russia’s Moscow Art Theater School.
