On the Boards is set to present the Seattle premiere of Amarillo by Teatro Línea de Sombra, a Mexico City theater company, November 8-11 at the Merrill Wright Mainstage Theater.
Amarillo is a bilingual production that touches on the issue of immigration and the reality of what happens when someone undertakes the dangerous journey between the two countries.
Teatro Línea de Sombra has roots in political theater and ensemble collaborations. Twice named the Best Research Theatre in Mexico, they have toured in numerous countries and are permanently touring their home country.
