The fans have been heard, and they want more multidimensional swimming pools.
Due to the overwhelming support of fans, the long-running off-Broadway hit Fuerza Bruta: Look Up has extended its run at the Daryl Roth Theatre through February 3, according to the show’s producers, S2BN Entertainment. The production, which debuted in New York in October 2007, had previously planned to close on November 11.
For Fuerza Bruta, the theater has been transformed into an alternate universe, filled with flying performers, pumping beats, engaging dream sequences and a 3D swimming pool above the heads of the audience, who stand on stage in the middle of the action.
Fuerza Bruta was originally produced in Argentina and has since been seen in over a dozen cities around the world. A London run is set to begin on December 27 at the Roundhouse Theatre and a Chinese tour will launch in 2013.
The show was crafted by some of the creators of the international sensation De La Guarda, including Diqui James, Gaby Kerpel, Agustina James, Alejandro Garcia, and Fabio Daquila.
