Florida Repertory Theatre has announced casting for its production of Joe DiPietro’s The Last Romance, to run April 24-May 17. Robert Cacioppo will direct.
The play tells what happens to 80-year-old Ralph and the slightly-younger Carol, who happen upon each other in the local dog park, setting their hearts aflutter in only the best of ways. The production will star Broadway and screen veteran David S. Howard and Sara Morsey as Ralph and Carol, with the cast also including Betty Madonna and Jason Parrish.
The creative team will include Richard Crowell (set), Jim Hunter (lighting) Roberta Malcolm (costumes) and Marc Hurst (sound).
