Dan Hoyle is set to bring his one-man show, Tings Dey Happen — which was developed with and directed by Charlie Varon — to the Marines Memorial Theatre, November 5-29.
The show is an adventure story highlighting the year Hoyle spent exploring the West African oil frontier as a Fulbright scholar. Tings Dey Happen was originally scheduled to re-open at The Marsh, where it previously played three previous engagements.
Hoyle is currently in Nigeria participating in the U.S. State Department’s Public Speakers’ Series, performing his show in several cities throughout the country including Lagos, Calabar, Abuja, Jos, and Bauchi, as well as leading workshops for students and civil society groups.
