Cast Announced for Less Than Rent Theatre’s Friends Don’t Let Friends

Less Than Rent Theatre has announced casting for the world premiere of James Presson’s Friends Don’t Let Friends, to be presented at Walkerspace, December 2-18. Rachel Buethe will direct.

The play blends the artificially comical world of a sitcom with the soul of Henrik Ibsen’s classic Hedda Gabler, as it focuses on a starlet consumed by existential notions.

The cast will feature Ashlynn Alexander, Cory Asinofsky, Becca Ballenger, Emma March Barash, Leslie Gauthier, Tommy Hettrick, Will Turner, and Jason Zeren.

The design team will include Caite Hevner (set design), Amanda Brooklyn (costume design), Ryan Seelig (lighting design), and Gifford Williams (sound design).
